Located at 10514 Ehrens Cutoff Road in Land O Lakes, Florida. We have 260 acres of wooded terrain, this one of kind sporting clays facility is within 30 minutes of Tampa and one hour from Ocala.

We are on a beautiful tranquil setting of 260 acres with world class target presentation. Each course is configured to accommodate the novice to the experienced shooter. Our courses are like actually hunting in a natural terrain and that’s what challenges your skills. Three scenic, fully wireless/automated 8 station courses, one challenging Five Stand, Gas Golf Carts,Ammunition sales, Gun Rentals, Clothing and Membership available.  Golf Carts & Guns available for rental. Sporting clays is a form of clay pigeon shooting. Described as “golf with a shotgun” the sport differs from trap and skeet shooting in that:

  1. It is often considered to be more difficult than trap or skeet.
  2. It involves shooting clay targets at multiple locations (called stations).
  3. Unlike trap and skeet, which are games of repeatable target presentations, sporting clays targets are thrown from Clay throwing machines in a great variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations and distances.

The original idea behind sporting clays was to create an experience that more closely reflects actual hunting conditions. Whereas top-tier trap and skeet professionals may have hit ratings nearing 100%, the best sporting clay shooters hit their targets only about 93% to 95% of the time. Although the sport is challenging, it is quite popular with novice shooters and ordinary hunters. Proper ear and eye protection and firearms safety procedures are required to be followed at all times while on the course.

As owner, and investor, Mike Mezrah is involved in the day to day activities of the range, as well as, promoting new and exciting activities for all. We will concentrate on individuals, charitable fundraisers, corporate shoots, fun shoots, family events, youth shooting, women shooting clinics, and shooting instructions available.

 

Our Team

Mike Mezrah- Owner:

I have been involved in many aspects of investment, construction, developing, payphone/atm businesses, real estate brokerage and more. I am an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoy sporting clays, flying, triathlons, running and being with my family: Nicole, McCaley, McKenzie and McLayne. I have been chairman of Ducks Unlimited Tampa Bay 100 chapter (number one in the state for 12 years) for the past 12 years and also the district chairman for DU on the west coast of Fla. I have also been involved in several developments including residential, commercial, subdivisions.
Dakota Rayburn- In the field supervisor:
Dakota has been at TBSC for years and knows all about trap repair, keeping a great course and making sure all the customers are happy and having a good time on the courses. He makes sure you are safe and other obey all the rules as set for on the waiver. He also sets the targets for the NSCA shoots and is a vital part of why the club functions the way it does.
Jake Nipper- Field Man:
Jake is a local and loves working at TBSC. he and Dakota work together a pair to maintain the courses, pick up empty hulls, keep the water coolers cold and overall upkeep of the courses. Jake has been at TBSC about a year and works hard so everyone can have a good time.
Lisa Matienzo- Office Supervisor:
Lisa handles all the charity events for the club as well as oversees the office. Her face, as well as Jenna’s, is the first thing you see when you come to TBSC and she makes your experience one you will remember.
Jenna Kelly- Office Manager:
Jenna helps you to check in as well as check out when you arrive at TBSC. Her smiling face will keep you coming back but also can assist you with your guns, shells, scorecards, safety talk and much more.
Gary Gereard- In house Instructor:
Gary is our resident instructor to help you with all your shooting needs as well as minor gun repair. he has vast knowledge of the shooting sport and is here to help you improve your shooting ability. Gary also helps to assist with the NSCA shoots and also coordinated the 1st Suncoast Classic Shoot at TBSC in Jan 2013. Gary can be contact direct at (860) 604-8777  for a group or private lesson.
