Way to go Dakota and Jake!  For his first target settling on their own, these boys did a great job. The targets were awesome and the shooters had nothing but good feedback. Barbara saved us with her scoring and check in/out procedures. Lunch was great and it was awesome to watch the HOA tie break between Andy Duffy and Eric Stafford  with some great shots. Congrats to all shooters who won their class and received punches

TBSC welcomes Chris Batha back to the club. Check out Chris’s website www.chrisbatha.com/  for more info but reserve your space soon. He has limited availability, and already has lessons & gun fittings booked. A summary of costs are as follows:

The hourly lessons are $175.00 for one person for one hour. If two people ( maximum ) share the hour, it is $225.00 for the hour.

Half Day Schools are available on the Thursday-March 28th & Friday March 29th (minimum 2 people, maximum 4 people). The Half Day Schools run from 9 AM to 12 Noon and 1 PM to 4 PM and are $375.00 per person.

 The gun fittings are $375.00 per person and take 2 hours (max 4 per day). You will be able to have gun fitted as well as lessons but this must be schedule directly through Sara/Chris at: sdgump@hargray.com . Gun Fittings and hourly lessons will be available on Sunday April 1st.

Known as the largest sporting clays shoot in the state of Florida and founded by honorary chairman, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, this event surely pulls the trigger on excitement. For the novice or experienced shooter, all guests will enjoy a full round of clays, delicious lunch and entertainment. TBSC currently has three courses set up for your enjoyment:

• Green Course: This course has been changed as of 1/27 and currently has 8 stations. It is located in the shady area of the course and is a great way to warm up before you hit the blue or red courses.
• Blue Course: Has also been changed as 1/27 and is made up of intermediate targets. It currently has 8 stations and is also located on the shady course and is a beautiful place to shoot, relax and enjoy.
• Red Course: Our competition course will change on 2/4 for the NSCA shoot on 2/5 and will have 12 stations for all to enjoy.
• 5 Stand/Super Station: has also been changed and has a rabbit with 5 other challeging targets. The elevated Super Station is always fun and can be challeging with true pairs. We have added a screamer rabbitt so get ready!!

We also have menues for all course (50 or 100 targets) so ask Lisa for a score card at anytime.

The cause is close to me because I know several people with this terrible disease and the cure is very close & very obtainable. All it takes is support and help and it will go away! As a member of the Hunters & Liars Club, we  have designed this event to be upscale and very nice. With Carrabba’s as the lead sponsor, live entertainment, wine tasting by Southern Wine & Spirits, cooking classes by Carrabba’s  well-known chef’s, message girls –for the sore shoulders after the shoot-and of course target shooting -50 rounds- as well. The venue is set at TBSC- www.mytbsc.com – under the Pavilion and starts at 3pm and ends about 8:30pm. Registration is 2pm. Please reserve your space soon. We will be capping this out at 150 shooters.  

Its set up to be a couples deal but doesn’t have to be. Please consider this for your next event and helping me, with the H&L club PULL for the CURE!!!!

Hello to all our young shooters. Our Youth Program begins on Dec 4th at TBSC. Each class is custom designed by Certified Shooting Instructor Ross Suddath (Poppy). Ross and staff will give your child the extra training needed to take him/her to the next level in shooting. He has also scheduled several tournaments which your child will shoot & compete as a team.
When you sign your child up he/she will receive: instructions with 3-5 children in a group (max), 50 targets at each session, 50 shotgun shells, gun rental (if needed), golf cart, drinks and the end of the year party. Ages are up to 12th grade and times are Sundays from 2pm till 4:30 pm. Space is limited to first 15 students. Cost is $200 for each session per child or $350 for both sessions. Offering half day plantation style hunting, knowledgable guides, and outstanding elhew bred english pointers. CFGB will have comfortable custom made quail rigs and beautiful scenary for all hunters to enjoy.

Hunt includes:  15 Birds per shooter, guides, dogs, hunting liscence, pre-packaged frozen birds, drinks & snacks.

I also have info on a club in Ocala which is $1350 for the year. Includes 5 hunts with 30 birds at each hunt, dogs, bird prep as well as a pheasant tower shoot w/ lunch. Extra quail can be bought for $4.00 each and chuckers/pheasants can be bought and placed out for a cost of $7.50/$12.00. Guest can be brought as well as for $50.00 each. Tampa Bay Sporting Clays has introduced a corporate “team building” activity at the club. Sporting Clays is a fun & exciting way to hold corporate meetings and bond with fellow employees.

Relax under our 4000 sqft pavilion and shoot some targets for fun or compete with others. You will see, a day at the shooting club, will enable your customers or employees, the opportunity to relax away from the office, and release tension and unwanted stress.  

TBSC have entertained bankers, executives, lawyers, financing companies, appraisers, rotary clubs, chambers throughout the state and all types of charity events. We will design a course set specifically for your type of shooter and I guarantee everyone will go home having a wonderful time.

We have developed a basic formula of $65.00 per person which includes the following: 

• 50 rounds of targets
• 50 rounds of shells
• Use of a shotgun
• Use of a golf cart
• Use of the Pavilion
• Use of the audio/visual amenities/wired & wireless internet
• Also a 5 stand competition-10 targets per person
• We can also arrange lunch, delivered by Hungry Harrys BBQ, for an additional cost of approx. $10.00 per person.

Most importantly, we need to nail down a date and collect a deposit. The weekdays, Wed-Friday, are best for these venues due to the public and charity events we have during the weekends.
